Biography: Helena Nimmo, CTO, Euromonitor International
Helena Nimmo is a passionate advocate of innovation and collaboration. She started her career early as an SME internationalisation consultant, a role she maintained throughout her university years at Oulu and Strathclyde Universities. On completing her M.Sc in International Marketing from Strathclyde, she joined Nokia in Finland and later moved to Symbian in London. In both companies Helena held a variety of business and technology roles experiencing the full breath of the emerging mobile technology sector.
Helena is a strategic leader, able to identify and deliver on new opportunities. Her core domain is technology, and with the growing importance technology has in our life as users and consumers, and the importance it has for companies as revenue generators and market threats, she has taken on an increasingly wider remit in the organisations she has worked in.
Prior to joining Euromonitor International as Chief Technologist in 2015, Helena held senior positions in both customer facing and internal technology leadership roles in Fujitsu, Cancer Research UK and Thomson Reuters.
Throughout her career Helena has looked to drive transformation and adopt a pro-active approach to change. She sees her role as a leader to grow and motivate others to deliver the best they can.
Helena lives in Reading and spends the majority of her time at the Euromonitor International headquarters in London.
